Attach an Assumption Model

Attach an assumption model to help you increase the accuracy of your plan.

Who can use this feature?

Users with this permission capability:

  • Planner

  • Plan Administrator

Not sure if you have this feature or capability? Reach out to your administrator.

  1. In the planning grid, do one of the following:
    • On the toolbar, click the Assumption models button > Attach assumption model.
    • In Plan Items view, find the metric you want to create an assumption for, click the Assumptions actions button, and then click Attach assumption model.
  2. In the Attach Assumption Models dialog, select the assumption you want to attach.

    Note:  
    • If you do not see the assumption model you want to attach, ensure the assumption model is set to cover the same timeline as your plan.
    • Assumption models that contain plan segments that are not included in the plan cannot be attached.

  3. Click OK.
